Ranks

If the only rank you ever earn is the Scout rank, we hope you become the best Scout the world has ever known. Earning higher ranks, however, will do much more for you than just gaining the respect of your fellow scouts. 

With each rank, skills are learned that can be part of your growth as a person, and also give you the opportunity to do more things.

Lower ranks focus on scouting skills and prepare you to have fun on camping trips. These ranks are Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class.

The higher ranks focus on leadership skills, merit badges, and service. These ranks are Star, Life, and Eagle.​
