Youth Protection

Scouts BSA places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, Scouts BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders with resources.

Troop Support

You are always welcome to join us on campouts to provide two-deep leadership. We also need drivers, mentors, and leaders. If you have a trailer hitch, you may be our new best friend!

Merit Badge Counselors

 Whatever your area of expertise or interest—whether it is a special craft or hobby (basketry, leatherwork, coin collecting), a profession (veterinary medicine, aviation, engineering), or perhaps a life skill (cooking, personal management, communications)—as a merit badge counsellor, you can play a vital role in stirring a young scouts curiosity about that particular topic. By serving as a merit badge counselor, you offer your time, knowledge, and other resources so that Scouts can explore a topic of interest.
